SEC Cracks Down on StonewallingSEC has zero-tolerance for companies that do not cooperate with its investigations.
> > This week the SEC levied heavy fines to two companies, Amerco and Banc of America, who failed to produce documents in a timely fashion. As part of a settled enforcement action the SEC fined Banc of America Securities $10 million which is the largest fine ever levied by the SEC against a company for "willfully" failing to produce documents in an SEC probe.
