Wife of Ex-Enron CFO & Six Executives Surrender To Federal AuthoritiesIndictments are expected to be unsealed naming Lea Fastow and several former Enron executives in a fraud scheme.
> > Surrendering to federal authorities were former co-chief executive officers of Enron Broadband Services including, Ken Rice and Joe Hirko; Kevin Hannon, EBS COO; Dan Boyle, VP; Ben Glisan, Treasurer; F.Scott Yeager, another executive and Mrs. Lea Fastow, wife of former CFO Andrew Fastow.
The Enron government task force is expected to include Mrs. Fastow in a superseding indictment against her husband Andrew Fastow, who was charged in October with 78 counts of fraud, conspiracy and money laundering.
Mrs. Fastow was paid $54,000 to administer one of the partnershipsat the center of the Justice Departments investigation into the Enron 2001 collapse. Names of the Fastows and their family foundation are on several bank accounts frozen by federal prosecutors before he was indicted October 31, 2002.
Andrew Fastow is free on $5 million bond.
