Despite Ban on New Clients, E&Y Hired

When is a suspension not a suspension?

> > The SEC has not determined when the suspension for Ernst & Young will go into effect for taking new clients. The suspension will be for 6 months when the effective date is determined. Ernst & Young found out last week, when Jos. A. Bank Clothiers replaced its auditor, KPMG, with Ernst & Young. In a filing with the SEC, Ernest & Young reported that the decision to make the change was approved by the audit committee of the board of directors of Jos.A. Bank Clothiers.
