Former Auto-Parts CFO Sentenced

Former president and chief operating officer has also pleaded guilty.

> > Peter Bromberg, former CFO of Motorcar Parts & Accessories Inc., was sentenced to five months in prison and five months of home detention for his role in a financial fraud, according to the SEC and the U.S. Attorneys Office for the Central District of CA.
In December 2003, Richard Marks, former president and chief operating officer of Motorcar agreed to plead guilty to the criminal charges and will be sentenced on August 9. In settling the civil fraud action of the SEC, Marks paid over $1.2 million and was permanently barred from serving as an officer or director of a public company.
