Former CEO Richard Scrusy wants HealthSouth to Pay Legal Tab

HealthSouth former CEO claims former employer is legally bound to pay for his legal fees.

> > Richard Scrushy has filed a new lawsuit against HealthSouth to recover legal fees incurred defending himself against accounting fraud charges.
Former CEO Richard Scrushy cites that he signed an indemnity agreement with HealthSouth in 1994 that requires HealthSouth to pay coverage for any lawsuits that might be brought against him in his business capacity. The suit claims the agreement is applicable for 10 years after Scrushy is no longer employed at HealthSouth.
