Reports of Sarbox Retreat are Greatly Exaggerated

Weaking the Sarbanes-Oxley Act will not get very far, said Alan Beller.

He hedged a bit after the statement, saying that there may be some "recalibration" after feedback on particularly onerous compliance issues (like the internal controls rules) is factored in. But for the most part, Beller said that the rules are "right on target."
